I was contemplating the waves at the prayer meeting this morning and thinking lots of people have the experience of feeling as though they are battered by the waves but every now and again a glimpse of sheer beauty appears before the next battering. I pray that anyone who feels as though they are constanly battered by waves that they will catch glimpses of beauty.
Looking at these pictures this morning I was thinking about the talk last week and about how God loved the world. We catch a glimpse of creation but waves have been crashing onto the shore for millions of years (and are doing so right now). Unseen. Unseen by us, but each one created and loved by God.
