This morning I condsidered why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit and how the bible describes the Holy Spirit so we can understand just what a fantastic resource Jesus left us.
Thanks for putting the PowerPoint up. It makes such a difference when I can't get to the talk. I like the other slide shows at the end. That means that with your talk everyone has plenty of resources to follow through if they want to.
Claire's theme on Sunday about God being at the centre of our lives re-emphasised to me again that Ashley belongs to God and we are His church. When Shaun was talking about the Holy Spirit, I could see the Holy Spirit wrapping himself around the heart of the church (where things happen)
I love this image of Moses, after all that has been happening and the waters have parted so they can pass; I can just imagine the failure of everyone to appreciate the immensity of what has happened, and that they are so caught up with the ways it affects them individually that they feel it is not inappropriate to grumble about the mud....hilarious....and slightly humbling - I don't want to be that person.
